The sun has always been my anchor. When words fail, I find myself reaching for burnt orange and midnight blue. These paintings aren't planned—they emerge, like memories surfacing from somewhere I can't quite name.
Nature isn't just a subject. It's the only language that makes sense when nothing else does.
THE WORK
Each piece begins with observation—hours spent watching light shift across landscapes, the way shadows pool and stretch, the moment when day surrenders to night. The paintings that emerge are less about representation and more about feeling.
Working primarily in acrylics, the process is intuitive. Colors are layered, scraped back, rebuilt. The sun appears again and again—a focal point, a source, a question being asked in different ways.
